Terry Vines and Ginger Veatch met in 1969 as 15 year old teenagers. Ginger says, "We soon found that we had a lot in common. The most important thing we had in common was our love for the Lord. A couple of months later after meeting we began dating. After dating for about a year, we began pastoring our first church. On February 4, 1973 we were married. On October 30, 1973, we were blessed with our first child, a beautiful daughter, Bethany Ann. In October 1986, the Lord sent our beloved though strong willed son, Terrance L. Vines II. So far, God has given us six beautiful grandchildren.
Over the years we have pastored as well as evangelized. In 2002, we decided to go back to school. We learned to make pottery while in college. God used our love for pottery to lead us into a new method of spreading the Gospel. We travel from place to place telling the Potter's story. We tell how God created man from the dust of the earth. We tell how we must remain pliable in His hands just as the clay remains pliable in the hands of the potter. If we let Him, God will form us into vessels of honor. The story is told and scripture is read while Terry makes a vessel on the potter's wheel.
The Lord has allowed us to be buffeted with much adversity. (See, Terry's testimony.) Since we are a work in progress, we are hoping the outcome of all of this adversity, will be a polished vessel, with no rough edges, useful to the Lord, for His purposes." Ecclesiastes 3:11 He makes everything beautiful in it's time.
